To learn more about the RECOCER project:
The commitment to national decarbonization began a few years ago in the manufacturing, tertiary, and residential sectors. However, the opportunities offered today by Renewable Energy Communities (CERs) are truly innovative and outline prospects that could significantly accelerate the energy transition.
In this context, thanks to the scientific support of the Energy Center at the Polytechnic University of Turin, the RECOCER Project is being implemented by the Friuli Hill Community—one of the first Renewable Energy Communities established in Italy and by far the largest, with 50,000 inhabitants and 15 member municipalities.
RECOCER also represents an innovative business model based on public-private collaboration and an example of replicability throughout the country, offering tangible energy, environmental, and economic opportunities that will be redistributed throughout the region.
